Job Description

The Assistant Manager is accountable to support the Head of Operational Management and COO and carries out the following responsibilities:

  • Change Execution – providing contribution to implement changes, either internally or externally driven, on a continuous improvement basis
  • Communication – providing contribution to develop and execute HOST communication plans with Region/Country Communications team
  • Service Performance Management – overseeing the implementation of outsourcing framework and ensure the “services” delivered has appropriate governance, benchmarks, metrics and reporting on efficiency, effectiveness and success
  • Financial Management – overseeing and providing robust financial management, tracking and reporting, with Global/Regional/Country Finance 3
  • Governance & Documentation – ensuring appropriate governance is developed and implemented with robust documentation and supporting management
  • Project execution – supporting Head of Operational Management and Country COO in executing strategic deliverables and providing oversight to ensure the execution is delivered to the required timeliness and specification

Job Requirement

  • 1+ years proven and progressive experience preferably incorporating operational management principles
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and use metrics to draw conclusions
  • Ability to make recommendations based on both subjective and objective information
  • Experience of using appropriate communication and planning skills, preferably in a matrix functional environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively
  • Ability to recognize when escalation is required to senior members of the team
