Global Trade and Receivables Finance -

Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Sales Manager, Global Trade and Receivables Finance

In this role, you will:

Formulate, resource, initiate, review sales plans in line with ASP GTRF through:
•  Devise practical strategies to originate and capture new GTRF opportunities by taking into consideration market trends and competitor positions ASP-wide team member’s advancement
• Align resources to execute these strategies improvement in Global People Survey (GPS) index.
• Refine (at least annually) sales strategies to maintain best course to achieve designated goals
Business management through:
• Drive, supervise and provide coach to other junior colleagues for a high win ratio/deal closure, pipeline management, and preparing the HCM Sales team to be seen as a credible deal making business unit.
Market development through:
• Contribute to the growth of VNM GTRF market profile and enhancing HSBC trade profile internally and externally to improve awareness of GTRF business and generate new sales opportunities
• Keep abreast with market environment to different business units within HCM GTRF, actively plan for any impact through maintaining close proximity to the changing market trends and have an in-depth awareness of operational issues within the market
• Coach /guide/ motivate other junior colleagues to deliver all business objectives in a sustainable manner
• Proactively seeking for Head of Trade Services/ASP’ support and advice to ensure Trade Sales Team runs productively, profitably and on time meeting  customer’s needs

Job Requirement

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements: 

- Bachelor degree holder
- Mandarin languague is a must
- Good command of English and strong in PC softwares kills
- Minimum 5 years experience in trade finance or corporate relationship management
- Good knowledge of trade products and International Rules applied such as: UCP 600, ISBP, URC, URDG, ISP etc
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong at new business development skills and experience
- Excellent ability to identify and develop business opportunity from existing clients to maximise share of wallet
