Job Description

  • Increase HSBC’s market presence and profile for corporate banking business by implementing an active calling program for himself/herself and managing the supporting activities of all the Assistant Relationship Managers under his/her charge in order to develop new WSB business.
  • Assist RMs in meeting KPI targets which include net increases in assets, net increases in gross revenue (TOI, HORIS, NII/NFI ratio), net increase in liabilities, acquisition of new customers, monthly call program, net-working functions, document express and follow-up.
  • Contribute to the GLCM/GTRF business by formulating and implementing an sales plan focusing on the promotion services as and when they are launched.
  • Ensure high quality lending by considering all strategic and key risk issues when approving facilities within his/her lending limit or recommending for approval those who exceed his/her limit.
  • Well know WSB products and understands thoroughly all internal procedures related to the products.
  • Maximise positive returns and grows the Bank’s share of wallet from designated portfolio by applying appropriate interest rates on deposits and fees on banking services rendered that reflect the existing and potential value of the customer to Bank
  • Safeguard the Bank from potential loss by ensuring that credit reviews are kept up to date and that problem accounts are identified and dealt with at an early stage and that operational controls are in place.
  • Remain compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines.
  • Ensure strict compliance with government banking regulations.
  • Client-oriented professional to pro-actively manage a complex portfolio of clients, becoming a trusted advisor to lead strategic dialogues with clients at a portfolio level through the understanding of specific business requirements and delivering creative and flexible customer solutions.
  • Maximize customer satisfaction through exceptional customer service, providing information about products and services that suit and fulfill customers' needs.

Job Requirement

  • For HSBC staff only
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of wholesale banking experience.
  • Practical experience and attendance of relevant courses.
  • Familiarity with various computer systems/applications software
  • Ability to communicate, identify and analyse customer requirements, provide and sell need-based solutions to customers effectively
  • Language skills: English is a must. On top of that, Chinese or Korean is a plus
