Job Description

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role Sales Manager - Corporate (GCB5).

In this role, you will:

  • Increase HSBC’s market presence and profile for GLCM business
  • Formulate and implement aggressive business development plans
  • Aggressively grow HSBC’s share of client GLCM wallet by ensuring  product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirement
  • Contribute to the effective management of top GB - GLCM relationships by making, designing and solutions in line with product capabilities and customer’s requirement
  • Build effective customer relationships and become the customers’ preferred financial partner and trusted advisor
  • Contribute in mentoring and driving for high performance and development of sales staff 
  • Provide coaches and motivates junior staff; promotes a sales culture amongst colleagues
  • Manage operating risk including identification, assessment, mitigation and control
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved
  • Minimize and control risks to the Group

Job Requirement

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements: 

  • At least 5 years banking experience in client facing roles and experience in cash management is preferred
  • University degree in Economics/ Finance & Banking/Foreign Trade
  • Specialist MNC payments/cash management industry expertise.
  • Commercial banking experience.
  • Sales/marketing and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liase effectively with personnel across functions.
  • Good command of Vietnamese & English (especially writing skill).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
