Job Description

  • Employing several programming languages and/or Business Intelligence tools of different utility to integrate and manipulate data from information systems (data warehouses, data marts, system master files, and external data etc.)
  • Managing programs to generate standard/ad hoc reporting and data extracts required for analytical decisioning and to support CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and campaign management by creating targeted leads and contacts for the mail, telephone and internet channels
  • Consulting with other departments and functions regarding their usage of available information infrastructure to optimize the business value they receive.
  • Providing visibility and escalation regarding project status and any issues for resolution.
  • Ensuring their team’s project/programme approaches and delivery are in line with Group policies/standards
  • Delivering precise and timely information management and reporting
  • Identifying and disseminating best practices
  • Prioritizing team’s data management projects and collaborate other team members
  • Treat customer fairly

Job Requirement

  • A minimum of 3 years proven experience, marketing and/or database management experience or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with personal computer and UNIX, as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages or equivalent, including experience in handling large databases and strong SQL (Structured Query Language) and/or SAS query writing and programming skills
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills are required, including the capacity to articulate the case for information management in the language of business.
  • Ability to independently assume responsibility and complete tasks.
  • Working across all levels of the organisation to understand cross-functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of information and data management risk at both a strategic level and at the business unit level.
  • Experience of leading and managing complex projects.
  • High level of professional competence.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex business requirements
